Open your eyes and look at this pale world, spirit and substance, nihility and existence, the false self and the real self. Maybe the flashy virtual will make you indulge, maybe the ephemeral comfort will make you choose to compromise, but only after truly fighting against nihility and experiencing struggles and pains, you can find your own color in this pale world.

Haozhe Tam

Haozhe Tam, 2022 Music Engineering student of Sichuan Conservatory of Music, student member of Electronic Music Society of China Musicians Association, young new media artist, using electronic acoustic music, experimental video and mixed music as his main means of creation. He likes to use experimental noise and vocals to express his thoughts on life and use experimental music to tell his own experiences and stories. His work “Self Narrative Post – Withered Ink” won the second prize in 2022 China Computer Design Competition for College Students, “Le destin? Non！” was selected in 2022 IEMC. The work “YiSheng YiSheng” won the second prize in the 2023 China College Student Computer Design Competition. The collaborative work “Shi Xiang” participated in SCCM & SCFA Online Digital Intangible Cultural Heritage Art Exhibition. The work “Purity Rebirth” was selected for New York City Electronic Music Festival, 2023 Hangzhou International Electronic Music Festival, 2024 Noise Floor, and won the fifth place in OIMC. He has participated in 2023 CMU computer music synthesis, 2024 Noise Floor.
