Something Is Wrong V. Hypnotic Poisons (2025) ; 6:15

by Einike Leppik

Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre

This audiovisual work is based on some seemingly random journeys, unknown people moving from unknown destinations on unknown streets. One of the main ideas behind the repetitive editing is to change the meaning of randomness, give the value to each frame and use one’s own experiences in finding the personal emotional connection with these non-places. It is also 5th part of the cycle “Something Is Wrong”. The series of video works gathered under this title are focusing on author´s perception of the Self in the contemporary world and human society.
